Identify and assess operational risks across all global business lines of American Express.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential operational risks.
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify emerging risks and make recommendations for mitigation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational risks are identified and managed effectively.
Monitor and report on key risk indicators, trends, and emerging risks to senior management.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to promote a culture of risk awareness and management.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to operational risk management.
Work closely with compliance and audit teams to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Train and mentor team members on operational risk management policies, procedures, and best practices.
Prepare and present reports and updates on operational risk management to senior leadership.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging risks to proactively identify potential areas of concern.
Lead and participate in projects related to operational risk management.
Develop and maintain effective risk management policies, procedures, and controls.
Foster a culture of risk awareness and management throughout the organization.
