About the Role The Manager of Data Reporting and Insights is a pivotal role that sits at the heart of our data-driven decision-making process. As a leader in our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, optimization, and delivery of reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to our stakeholders. This role is not just about data visualization; it's about storytelling through data, turning complex information into clear, concise narratives that drive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of reporting and insights analysts to deliver high-quality visualizations and dashboards that meet stakeholder needs. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that prioritizes stakeholder value and drives continuous improvement. Effectively allocate resources to balance priorities and meet deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of insights. Design, develop, and enhance reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization platforms, ensuring they are intuitive, actionable, and aligned with business goals. Regularly review and update reports to maintain their relevance and accuracy, staying abreast of changing business needs. Apply design principles to create visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards, ensuring consistency and standardization in report formats and metrics across the organization. Train and support stakeholders in using reports and dashboards effectively, building self-service reporting capabilities where appropriate. Drive process improvements, leveraging technology and product reuse to increase efficiency and eliminate duplication. Qualifications and Skills To excel in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in a relevant field, with at least 1+ year of supervisory or management experience. Preferably, you have 3+ years of management experience. Strong expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI and experience with the Snowflake platform. Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to listen and empathize with others, building trust among team members and stakeholders. The ability to stay updated with current and emerging technologies, supporting rapidly changing business needs. Highly knowledgeable in preparing business plans, IT plans, Technology Roadmaps, and technical project proposals, with experience in budget management. A demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements and recommend timely solutions, using ingenuity and creativity to direct problem-solving efforts. Knowledge of systems development life cycle and experience with Agile methodologies such as SAFe or SCRUM. A Lean Agile Mindset, with the ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary for this position, with a national base pay range of $122,400 - $265,100, depending on your knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.
