Job Summary

As a Manager of Analytics, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Chief Initiative group, focusing on streamlining our paid media spend worldwide. You will work closely with marketing teams to identify opportunities for improvement, develop reporting and analysis to inform decision-making, and create KPIs and scorecards to track progress. Your expertise in data analysis, business intelligence, and communication will enable you to drive business outcomes and optimize our marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities


Develop and deliver reporting and insights on paid media performance, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Design, build, and lead the development of analytics, business intelligence, and data science capabilities to enhance paid media efficiency and marketing effectiveness.
Collaborate with paid media, data science, and marketing teams to implement media mix models and drive business outcomes.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis through database querying, followed by rapid interpretation of results and communication of recommendations that drive action.
Partner with marketing, finance, and product teams to address business challenges, tracking marketing and product performance using a data-driven approach.
Utilize SQL, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Excel, and other reporting tools to create and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports.
Analyze data to identify business issues, leading to in-depth analysis and root cause identification.
Work with stakeholders to leverage internal and external data, addressing complex business challenges and delivering meaningful insights.
Conceptualize and execute analysis that generates insights on customer behavior and needs, informing product development and improvement.


Essential Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as data science, business, economics, information technology, statistics, or mathematics.
Experience in business intelligence, analytics, or consulting in an online business environment or related field.
Advanced SQL experience and proficiency in at least one industry-standard analytics and data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight).
Expertise in Excel with a proven track record of data analysis and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.


Preferred Qualifications


Experience working in a team of highly engaged professionals, with a passion for numbers, data, and metrics.
Strong inclination for action, with a high level of organization and ability to complete tasks and projects with minimal direction and tight deadlines.

Experience with subscription-based or media content organizations, as well as state-of-the-art data science approaches.
Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C#, or statistical software like R or SAS.
Familiarity with Adobe Analytics.
