Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Lead and execute internal audit reviews, including validation of regulatory findings and internal control remediation.Oversee compliance quality assurance (QA) reviews across operational and regulatory processes.Assess the effectiveness of risk management, compliance, and control frameworks.Perform regulatory issue validations, including BSA/AML, OFAC, and other financial crimes compliance areas.Develop and execute audit and QA programs, testing plans, and reporting, ensuring findings and recommendations are clearly communicated to senior leadership.Partner with client stakeholders to provide independent assurance and QA oversight of remediation strategies.Provide subject-matter expertise on the distinction and coordination between 2nd line and 3rd line of defense responsibilities to ensure alignment with regulatory expectations.Recommend and support implementation of process improvements and risk mitigation measures.Key Requirements and Technology Experience:Skills-Internal Audit and Compliance QABSA/AML, OFAC, financial crimes and broader regulatory frameworks2nd and 3rd line of defence functionsExtensive internal audit and compliance QA experience in large financial institutions.Strong knowledge of BSA/AML, OFAC, financial crimes, and broader regulatory frameworks.Proven track record in validating remediation of regulatory and control issues.Solid understanding of 2nd and 3rd line of defense functions, with ability to operate independently and provide clear assurance.Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Prior experience working with global banking clients is highly desirableOur client is a leading financial services Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
