Description**This role may have in-office requirements based on candidate location.**As a recognized leader within the SBU and through management of a team of product research analysts, implements countrywide initiatives and conducts high level analyses to support strategic direction of assigned product and states. Create product strategies and new product concepts both individually and through influence. Presents complex analyses and results of countrywide initiatives to Product Management and Product SVPs.ResponsibilitiesManages a team of product research analysts. Provides strategic and tactical direction on initiatives for product segments countrywide, both individually and through management of a small team of junior research analysts.Drives implementation of countrywide initiatives, including tailoring product strategy to meet unique state needs.Creates new implementation strategies individually and through influence. Consults on complex business issues and design considerations.Prioritizes among projects to deliver highest level of benefit to the organization and drives expense management. Leads high complexity and long-term projects and analysis. Sponsors projects with team members spanning multiple functional areas.Conducts high complexity analysis and answers advanced business questions. Analyzes trends and is responsible for tactical and strategic recommendations.Creates/leads formal training sessions and modules.Hires, develops, provides coaching to, and makes compensation recommendations for team members. Defines individual performance objectives and development plans, and ensures alignment with department, function, and SBU objectives.Fosters an environment in which continuous improvement methodologies are applied to deliver value to customers.QualificationsAdvanced knowledge of data sources, tools, software applications and business drivers.Advanced knowledge of business operations, policies, procedures, and priorities, to include a strong understanding of the function's value chain and market conditions. Demonstrated ability to exercise influence, engage employees; communicate effectively; promote collaboration, team work and change initiatives; and build value for customers through a service orientation, innovation, and continuous improvement. Displays solid business acumen and integrated thinking.Competencies typically acquired through a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience to include business analysis work and prior experience working in an effective leadership capacity.About UsPay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location.
