Manager I, Donor Events & Engagement
About the position The Manager I, Donor Events & Engagement at Catholic Relief Services is responsible for designing and executing a diverse portfolio of activities that foster meaningful connections between the organization and its private donors. This role is integral to the Charitable Giving's Strategy, Campaigns, and Events Unit, focusing on amplifying messaging for a potential Comprehensive Fundraising Campaign to deepen donor relationships with CRS and its mission. The position also involves coordinating VIP donor trips and managing various engagement events, with opportunities for remote work. Responsibilities • Lead design and creation of events and touchpoints that engage donors throughout the donor lifecycle. • Develop custom engagement and outreach strategies in collaboration with various fundraising teams. • Manage production of key deliverables such as invitation language, event scripting, and promotional materials. • Refine measurement systems for event engagement opportunities and communicate data with leadership. • Create and manage email outreach using Stensul and EveryAction platforms. • Advise CRS staff and guest donor speakers on donor-centered content. • Oversee selection process and contract negotiation with in-person event vendors for seamless execution. • Collaborate with the Campaign Director on Comprehensive Campaign special projects. • Oversee creation and implementation of a customized Comprehensive Campaign website. • Assist in coordinating donor visits to CRS programs overseas, ensuring all logistics are well planned and managed. • Support virtual travel activities including program design and attendee tracking.
