What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role in delivering B2B SaaS solutions.
Proven ability to manage and lead multidisciplinary teams, including developers and QA professionals.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira or AWS.
Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a focus on achieving results.
Hands-on technical background in software development (e.g., Typescript, JavaScript, or similar technologies) and familiarity with modern frameworks and tools (e.g. Node.js, React.js, Angular.js, etc.).
Proven experience delivering and maintaining high-performance SaaS applications in AWS, leveraging containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, with expertise in diverse datastores including Postgres, Elasticsearch, and Snowflake.
Desirable Experience and Knowledge:
Experience with SaaS and multi-tenant application development.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven design.
Experience working in a highly regulated or security-sensitive environment.
Certification in Agile methodologies is a plus.
CompensationIn the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $177,000 – $190,000 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus of 30%. If you are hired at Payscale, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
