Discover Financial Services is looking for an experienced Manager of Data Science - Consumer Banking Solutions, MIS, to join our team of innovative professionals. The successful candidate will have a passion for leveraging data to develop insights that shape customer experiences and drive business results.In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of data science initiatives across the Consumer Banking Solutions teams. You will collaborate with key stakeholders in MIS, IT, analytics, and marketing to ensure that data science projects are aligned with the overall strategy and objectives of the organization. You will be responsible for creating and executing strategies to improve customer experiences by leveraging data and analytics.To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other related field and at least 5 years of experience in data science, analytics, and/or MIS. In addition, you should have experience managing and leading data science teams, developing and implementing data science strategies, and developing insights from data. Ideally, you should have experience working in the banking or financial services industry.
