As a Manager, Commercialization Engineer, you'll play a critical role in leading the management, implementation, and execution of technical projects that drive our transformation goals. Job Summary As a Manager, Commercialization Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading technical projects that drive business growth and transformation. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including customers, software development teams, hardware teams, and product owners to investigate and triage issues in the field, identify defect patterns, and develop project plans that meet our transformation goals. Key Responsibilities Project Management: Manage commercialization, productivity, and strategic projects across internal and external manufacturing locations to deliver new products and technologies. Develop and manage scopes, budgets, schedules, and risks for all projects. Productivity and Continuous Improvement: Identify, develop, and lead productivity, continuous improvement, sustainability, and quality projects across internal and external manufacturing locations. Technical Leadership: Lead technical aspects in the evaluation, troubleshooting, and implementation of new products and packages, working with market development teams and bottlers. Collaboration and Execution: Collaborate with technical teams in the execution of new technologies, processes, and innovative solutions and products in the market. Provide technical operations support in the implementation of promotions and line extensions. Productivity Initiatives: Drive productivity initiatives across the system (bottlers, suppliers, FU), identify opportunities in the system to lower our supply chain cost, and influence the implementation of practices to improve the affordability of our products. Business Planning: Participate in the development of business plan objectives and work collaboratively to assure the timely execution of technical supporting activities. Quality and Compliance: Support package and product quality, co-lead to minimize risk to the company and the brand, and assure compliance with technical policies in our internal and external network. Prototype Development: Review prototypes and define appropriate improvements to ensure brand fit. Align with producing locations on implementation and establish necessary investments where needed. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate and lead technical projects that require cross-system and cross-functional cooperation to deliver innovations in products, packaging, and promotions. Requirements and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Food Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years of experience in a fast-moving consumer goods company, preferably in the food, dairy, beverage/brewery, or personal care industries. Technical Knowledge: Ability to leverage technical knowledge to provide a competitive advantage. Problem-Solving: Ability to triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose resolutions. Independence: Ability to work independently, raise issues, and take corrective action. Analytical and Creative Thinking: Detail-oriented, analytical, and creative thinker with a passion for quality processes. Software QA Metrics: Fluent in software QA metrics, operations, and statistics. Communication: Strong interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver strategies for new projects, products, and technologies. Project Management: Experience with concept-to-launch using a defined NPD (New Product Development/Stages & Gates) or change management process. Track Record: Demonstrated track record of identifying and reducing to practice technologies for consumer-packaged goods companies to solve challenging business needs. Resource Management: Ability to refine solutions and manage internal and external partner expectations against technical and business success criteria with limited available resources. Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs (Word, XLS, PPT, Project). Compensation: Competitive salary range of $105,000 - $129,000, depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Benefits: A full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position. Annual Incentive: Annual incentive reference value percentage of 15, indicating performance at target.
