Manager, Aetna Pharmacy Performance & Profitability Management

Position Summary This is a key strategic role supporting performance and profitability on the Aetna pharmacy team by driving high-performance pharmacy management across all Aetna lines of businesses. This position will provide technical and execution support to a director and collaborate with the strategy & operations and cross-functional teams to identify drivers of performance changes and develop correction plans as needed. Responsibilities include: • Support enterprise-wide initiatives by assessing their impact on Aetna and providing data-driven insights to assist in valuation and strategic alignment • Leverage various internal and external data sources to assist in adhoc analysis • Apply project management/organizational skills to execute financial process improvements or correction plans and communicate succinctly to cross-functional workgroups • Assist in tracking and communicating pharmacy and Medical Rx financial performance to senior stakeholders • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Actuarial, Finance, and Product to deliver insights and reporting • Develop creative technical solutions to incorporate efficiencies into daily work Required Qualifications • 3+ years of relevant experience in finance or other data-driven roles within the pharmacy or health insurance industry • Strong communication skills • Ability to think creatively and use multiple data sources to assess and develop business strategies • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities • Ability to collaborate with experts from other teams to better understand issues/drivers and how/why the impact may differ by line of business • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel) • Experience with large and detailed data sets Preferred Qualifications • Experience in SAS or similar programs • Experience in pharmacy-related work • Business knowledge of different Aetna segments and how unique components within each LOB impact P&L performance - ASA credential/near ASA Education Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $54,300.00 - $203,940.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
