Responsibilities Under direct guidance the Associate Managed Care Contract Analyst assists in tracking and trending contract issues. Identifies over and underpayments based on contract intent. Contacts health plans to collect over and underpaid insurance reimbursements. Extensive knowledge of payor contracts and policies. Identify variances, trends and contracting omissions. Will create and maintain detailed reports and review with Intermediate analyst. Will assist in assessing and analyzing current payor contracts for areas of improvement and contract maximization during contract negotiation. Review and present findings, solutions, and recommendations to Intermediate analyst. Memorize and comprehend contract terms, renewal and end dates or other time sensitive information. Analyze coding, reimbursement hierarchy, interpret verbiage and contract language intent. Communicate and work well with payors. Research and variance recovery, global trends of variances, and contact payors to recover underpayments. Maintain systems and track variance statistics. Provide price transparency to patients, track metrics for price estimations. • *This position has the opportunity to be a hybrid position.
