Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift ($34/hr) - Immediate Opening
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks on heating systems, electrical systems, machines, hydraulics, refrigeration, and other facilities maintenance as required. This is a direct-hire role with full benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
Troubleshoot malfunctions and locate sources of problems using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Remove defective parts and adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance.
Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED with above-average mechanical ability.
Ability to work independently and exhibit problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems.
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
Work Details:
Shift: 3rd shift (10:30pm-7am, Sun-Thurs)
Hours: 8-10 hours of OT
Compensation: $25-$34/hr, depending on experience
Shift differential: $1.50/hr
