As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial facilities, troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic failures of production machines, and leading collaborative efforts in major repairs. Job Summary and Key Responsibilities As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for independently determining and developing approaches to machinery repair and troubleshooting, exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of repairs to major breakdowns, and leading collaborative efforts in major repairs. You will also perform preventative maintenance (PM) work as scheduled, seek opportunities for improvement to the PM program, and troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic failures of production machines in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities: Independently determine and develop approaches to machinery repair and troubleshooting Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of repairs to major breakdowns and often lead collaborative efforts in major repairs Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic failures of production machines in a timely manner while seeking opportunities to eliminate reoccurring failures Perform PM work (preventative maintenance) as scheduled and seek opportunities for improvement to the PM program Lead and train lower-level and/or new employees Collaborate with other teams to identify and implement process improvements Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Essential Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required Associates or Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Science preferred 3+ years of relevant experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar required; additional education can be supplemented for years of experience Preferred Qualifications: Strong PLC and Electrical Controls experience and troubleshooting capabilities Experience with Mechanical, Electrical, and Pneumatic troubleshooting Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver material handling devices Physical Requirements As a Maintenance Technician, you will be required to: Maneuver and lift up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance Maneuver material handling devices such as pallet jacks and roll handling equipment Work majority of the work day standing and walking Work Environment and Company Culture We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that encourages growth, learning, and career development.
