Job Summary of Maintenance Custodian Associate:
As a Maintenance Custodian Associate at Sam's Club, you play a crucial role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for members and associates. Your responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness across the facility, from floors to restrooms, and supporting overall facility safety and environmental sustainability.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Maintenance Custodian Associate:
Ā Clean all areas of the facility, including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles, using approved chemicals and equipment.
Ā Conduct safety sweeps and follow safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for all.
Ā Respond promptly to spills and other maintenance needs, operating floor scrubbers and disposing of materials according to environmental guidelines.
Ā Maintain appropriate levels of cleaning supplies and chemicals, ensuring safe storage and replenishment as needed.
Ā Support facility operations by handling hazardous materials and following proper disposal procedures.
Qualifications and Experience of Maintenance Custodian Associate:
Ā Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ā Ability to work in physically demanding environments and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Ā Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
