American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and one of the Nation's largest wholesale suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows, and Millwork, currently has a position available for Facility Maintenance to assist our Distribution Division in providing value-added goods and services to our customers.

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, JELD-WEN designs, produces and distributes an extensive range of interior and exterior doors, wood, vinyl and aluminum windows.
Position Responsibility:
? Works on new installations of all power, lights, compressors, control panels, electrical service and powered industrial equipment
? Electrical repairs and troubleshooting throughout facility
? Performs routine and preventative maintenance tasks including overhaul and repair of machines, panels and conveyors
? Maintains logs of both preventative and routine maintenance as required
? Assists with various new or remodel commercial construction projects
? Other miscellaneous maintenance and construction projects as necessary
Special Requirements:
? Strong mechanical aptitude a must
? Experience using basic hand tools
? Strong mechanical aptitude a must
? Able to work without assistance and direction in performing duties
? Must be able to climb ladders and perform overhead work
? Good communication skills both verbal and written
