Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Ā Operate production machinery including lathes, mills, drills, saws, welders, and more.
Ā Read and interpret blueprints to set up, adjust, and operate equipment according to specifications.
Ā Conduct mechanical assembly of components using hand and air tools.
Ā Inspect parts for quality using measuring tools and address any defects.
Ā Perform basic operator maintenance to ensure equipment efficiency and prevent downtime.
Ā Utilize computer systems for inventory tracking and production records.
Ā Provide input for troubleshooting and problem-solving to optimize production processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Ā High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ā 18 to 36 months of relevant experience required, with welding or mechanical repair experience preferred.
Ā Familiarity with SAP system desirable.
Ā Strong reading, clerical, and basic math skills required.
Ā Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and transition between tasks efficiently.
