M&A Delivery Contractor-Financial Due Diligence

Position Summary Contractor Location-Remote Work you'll do Work You’ll Do The services You will provide the Deloitte project team: As a Virtual M&A Delivery Contractor, you will work virtually while researching and working with M&A teams on a broad spectrum of deal and accounting matters including issues in accounting for business combinations, consolidations, revenue recognition, leasing, and financial instruments. In addition, you will have the opportunity to directly deliver highly valued service to clients through working on a diverse array of M&A engagements across multiple industries. You will: Demonstrate an ability to identify and evaluate business, industry, financial, related transactions potential “deal breakers”, and deal-specific risks and opportunities Evaluate targets’ historical and projected earnings and cash flows; hidden contingencies, commitments; as well as quality of assets Communicate deal issues to clients in concise, written deliverables. In this delivery-model role, contractors focus on project execution, providing high quality service without the demands of travel, business development, or client-relationship management. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s Degree Minimum of one year experience doing financial due diligence Minimum of 4 + years of US GAAP Accounting experience Preferred CPA, CA certification Masters in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration Audit experience with PCAOB registered public accounting firm The expected pay range for this contract assignment is 80-100 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
