Position Summary As a Deal Origination Associate, you will play a key role in directly contacting acquisition targets/companies for our private equity clients. This is a fast-paced, performance-driven position requiring exceptional communication, persistence, and organization. You’ll be on the front lines of the M&A process — reaching out directly to business owners, understanding their motivations, and setting the stage for successful transactions.Key Responsibilities • Conduct 100+ outbound calls per day to business owners, founders, and executives to discuss acquisition opportunities. • Qualify leads, set appointments, and manage the handoff process. • Maintain accurate and detailed records of activity and pipeline metrics within our CRM system (Salesforce). • Collaborate closely with team members to track performance, report results, and meet aggressive weekly and monthly KPIs. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of BowPoint’s sourcing systems and processes.Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. • Exceptional work ethic, self-discipline, and an ability to continuously learn in a fast-paced environment. • Strong communication skills and confident phone presence — not afraid of cold calling. • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or financial services is preferred. • Strong desire to learn about a variety of industries • Desire to grow within a high-performance, competitive team environment.
