Responsibilities:
Bathing and personal care
Wound care
Assist with transfers from bed to chair via Hoyer lift
Trach/Ventilator Care
Medication management
Tube feedings
Maintenance of compliant clinical records
Essential Requirements:
Current California State license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
BLS Certification
Valid California Drivers License, and eligible to be insured under our liability policy with a clean DMV report
Your own vehicle and proof of current auto insurance
One year experience as a home health care provider
Current CPR certification
PPE is provided to all employees
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Certifications
Ability to work with others, at all levels within the organization, and collaborate effectively.
Above-average interpersonal, problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills.
Professional behavior when on duty
Service Region/ Location:
This role requires you to travel to the pediatric patients home in Red Bluff each shift.
Schedule:
You are invited to apply for a full-time role of up to 40 hours per week or a part-time role to fulfill the pediatric patients daily needs.
Physical Requirements:
Conditional upon job offer is successfully passing a medical exam that tests amongst other things the ability to move, visual acuity, and hearing acuity. Physical requirement for this role specifically include
Sits, stands, bends, lifts, walks, and moves intermittently during working hours
Able to lift to 50 pounds without assistance
Able to drive intermittently
Compensation:
Starting pay is $30 per hour.
Benefits
You will receive a monthly phone stipend.
Leave accrues starting on your first day of employment, and you can take paid vacation, sick and holiday leave after 90 days.
We offer a 401(k) matching up to 4% after 1 year of employment and 1,000 hours worked.
For full-time employees, on the first of the month following 60 days of employment you will be eligible for health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, as well as Flexible Spending Account (FSA).
