DREAMSAFER LLC is a youth-focused behavioral health agency certified by OHMAS, providing culturally informed services through Day Treatment, Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS), and Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST). We primarily serve Somali and Muslim youth, and we are deeply committed to offering culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care that aligns with our clients’ values.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a licensed LPC or LISW to perform behavioral health assessments for children and adolescents enrolled in our Day Treatment, CPST, and TBS programs. This is a contract position paid per completed assessment. Services may be delivered remotely or in-person at our Columbus office.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive initial behavioral health assessments for youth clients
• Complete culturally responsive documentation using ICD-10 and Medicaid-compliant standards
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support individualized treatment planning
• Maintain timely and accurate records in our EHR (BestNotes)
• Respect and integrate cultural, religious, and linguistic factors into the assessment process
• Participate in quality assurance processes as needed
Qualifications:
• Active Ohio licensure as LPC or LSW, Mental Health RN
• Experience working with youth in behavioral health settings
• Knowledge of Medicaid documentation and OHMAS requirements
• Strong interpersonal, written, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet documentation deadlines
• Preferred: Muslim clinician
• Strongly Preferred: Somali-speaking or culturally aware of Somali and Islamic communities
