We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our team at Workwarp, working with Hobby Lobby. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for performing cable setup and renovation services for various systems, including analog, virtual, and VoIP phone systems, switched networks, POS, CCTV, paging, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Setup and configure POS, network, and laptop systems
Provision, test, and maintain VoIP phones and related accessories
Install, troubleshoot, test, and repair low voltage systems, including LAN, CCTV, PA, and more
Conduct site surveys and plan and coordinate infrastructure upgrades with network engineering, construction, and other teams
Install and maintain distribution racks, distribution cables, terminals, grounding, and wiring on a range of communications systems
Requirements:
Interpret standard construction blueprint schematics
Install interior and exterior cabling to various device endpoints
Use applicable communications testing equipment, interpret results, and make informed decisions
Operate powered systems, including golf cart, delivery cart, pallet jack, scissor lift, and lift truck, with proper training
2-4 years of industry experience
Willingness to travel within the U.S.
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
Ability to read data, understand issues, and draw logical conclusions
Comfortable working at heights, including ladders, scissors, and elevated lifts up to 50 feet
Proficient in common computer applications (MS Office)
Adaptability and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Valid government-issued credentials enabling travel by car and plane within the state of Oklahoma and across the U.S.
Understanding of:
Personal computer systems and Low Voltage testing systems
LAN/WAN computing networks
