Essential Job Duties
Ā Implement or monitor processes to reduce property or financial losses
Ā Investigate known or suspected internal theft, external theft, or vendor fraud
Ā Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to report or investigate crimes
Ā Conduct store audits to identify problem areas or procedural deficiencies
Ā Identify and report merchandise or stock shortages
Ā Inspect buildings, equipment, or access points to determine security risks
Ā Maintain documentation or reports on security-related incidents or investigations
Ā Monitor compliance with standard operating procedures for loss prevention, physical security, or risk management
Ā Prepare written reports on investigations
Ā Recommend new or improved processes or equipment to reduce risk exposure
Ā Verify proper functioning of physical security systems, such as closed-circuit televisions, alarms, sensor tag systems, or locks
Ā Conduct employee background investigations and review reports with operational or human resources managers
Ā Coordinate with risk management, human resources, or other departments to assist in company programs, investigations, or training
Ā Recommend methods to reduce potential financial fraud losses
Ā Investigate known or suspected internal theft, external theft, or vendor fraud
Ā Implement or monitor processes to reduce property or financial losses.
Ā Identify and report merchandise or stock shortages
Ā Maintain documentation or reports on security-related incidents or investigations

Education and Experience
Ā High School diploma or equivalent
Ā 1+ years of work experience in a related field
Ā Must have advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Physical Demands
Ā This job is primarily sedentary work. Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 90% of the time
Ā Manual dexterity to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment
Ā Constant close visual acuity to view a computer screen
Ā Auditory acuity to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
Ā Constant communication to exchange accurate information
Ā Must be able to work under stress
