Purpose of Position:
The LP Remote Associate monitors all assigned locations to support store operations, deter loss, identify shrink opportunities, address alarm events, and provide for physical security and safety awareness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assess, prioritize, and respond to incoming calls (theft, incidents, alarms)
· Serves as first contact LP support to store leadership for matters related to LP
· Actively engage in ongoing forensic video review to identify deviation from expectations related to shrink (internal, external, process)
· Develop and conduct investigations leveraging all available business resources
· Liaison with local, state, and federal LE in support of investigative needs
· Supports cross functional teams within the company around investigative needs
o Firearms Compliance
o HR
o Operations
· Required to maintain detailed records of daily activities by location, activity type, and outcome
· Conducts structured remote audits within assigned areas to support and enhance store operations
· All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Ability to provide direction and make sound decisions in elevated stress situations
· Ability to multitask
· Ability to deal with conflict in a professional manner
· Knowledge of closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems and Microsoft Office
· Meticulous attention to detail
· Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
A minimum of 1 year Loss Prevention or Security experience preferred
Travel Requirements:
This position does not require travel.
