Job Summary:
Teach music classes to students, promoting their musical development and appreciation
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners
Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to ensure academic success
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Stay up-to-date with best practices in music education, attending professional development opportunities as required
Requirements:
Valid Connecticut teacher certificate in Music (049), PK-12
Demonstrated excellence in teaching music, with a strong understanding of curriculum design and implementation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Proficiency in technology, including operating systems, office suites, and educational software
What We Offer:
Competitive daily rate: $155 per day (certified), $105 per day (non-certified) for the first 30 days, increasing to $155 per day from the 31st day
