Logistics and Distribution Manager

Our client is looking for a strategic and results-driven Logistics and Distribution Manager to lead their remote operations. This role is central to optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of our entire supply chain, focusing on the seamless movement of goods from our facilities to our customers. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative logistics strategies, managing transportation networks, and overseeing all aspects of warehousing and distribution. Key responsibilities include analyzing current logistics processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to reduce costs and enhance delivery speed. You will work closely with carriers to negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with all regulations. Inventory management and optimization will also be a core focus, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing holding costs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of global logistics, supply chain best practices, and experience with logistics software and transportation management systems (TMS). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential, as you will be guiding a remote team.
