Job description: LocumJobsOnline is working with LocumTenens.com to find a qualified Psychiatry MD in California!About The PositionThe program is a behavioral health field outreach unit consisting of teams of professionals and paraprofessional staff dedicated to addressing the needs of the homeless with severe behavioral health challenges. It uses the Relational Outreach and Engagement Model to engage and provide services to homeless individuals who have mental illness and/or substance use disorders
Program in SoCal that serves a wide geographic area, covering both densely populated neighborhoods and more remote, rural regions.
This MondayFriday, 8am5pm position involves working in the community as part of a mobile clinic team alongside mental health and primary care providers. The teams mission is to engage and empower individuals by connecting them to appropriate behavioral health treatment, community services, and housing resources. Staff work directly in the fieldon the streets, in shelters, and at community hubsproviding intensive case management, treatment linkage, life skills support, peer engagement, and guidance through housing and health systems.Dates Needed: May - Ongoing
