Responsibilities include managing schedules, proposal and cost account responsibility, manpower planning, identifying and mitigating risks, upholding configuration control, and reporting data/metrics to Production Operations and Program leadership. The candidate will represent Production Operations as a primary and lead interface to the line of business program management, engineering, sourcing, quality, finance, and other functions as required. The candidate will develop manufacturing program plans and schedules to ensure successful program completion with correct staffing levels. The candidate will take the lead in problem resolution by understanding program goals, tradeoffs, and schedules. Conduct reviews during the manufacturing cycle to identify issues, develop work around plans to mitigate risk and to implement process improvements. Coordinate shipping information with Program Manager and communicate to packaging/shipping organization. Coordinate make/buy policy and support implementation plans. Participate in proposal preparation for new business and for scope changes on the existing program.
