Job title: Associate Data Analyst (Remote - Chicago Based) Client: Myticas Consulting Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States - Remote (must reside in Chicago metro area) Contract type: W2 Contract Contract duration: Salary: About The Role Myticas Consulting is seeking an Associate Data Analyst for a W2 contract position based out of the Chicago, IL metro area (fully remote from within the Chicago area). In this role, you will collect, clean, maintain, and analyze data to support reports and dashboards that help internal stakeholders make data-driven decisions. You will work with senior team members to build insightful visualizations and basic analytical reports, while gaining hands-on experience with common BI and analytics tools. Responsibilities • Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and milestones for basic-level projects • Support the automation of data from singular datasets or domains with basic complexity • Collect, clean, and maintain quantitative and qualitative data from various sources of basic to moderate complexity • Help ensure data integrity and adherence to relevant requirements and guidelines • Contribute to the design and development of tools, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization • Prepare and present findings and assessments on less complex matters to internal stakeholders in both oral and written formats • Build and maintain strong working relationships within the team and department • Collaborate with senior staff to evaluate the efficiency of business and reporting processes, procedures, and programs Requirements • Must currently reside in the Chicago, Illinois metro area, USA, and be able to work remotely from this location • Minimum 1 year of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a closely related analytical role (including internships or co-op positions) • Hands-on experience collecting, cleaning, and maintaining quantitative data from multiple sources • Experience creating basic reports or dashboards using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI/reporting platforms • Basic coding or querying experience using tools such as SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation or analysis • Experience presenting or summarizing analytical findings to internal stakeholders in written, visual, or presentation formats Preferred Skills • Experience supporting small-scale projects or assisting with project plans, timelines, or milestones • Experience working with both quantitative and qualitative data sources • Experience contributing to process improvement or evaluating efficiency of business or reporting processes • Prior experience in a consulting, professional services, or corporate analytics environment Apply tot his job
