They are seeking a Loan Syndicate & Sales Analyst to join their US Investment Banking & Finance team, where the analyst will support the execution of lending opportunities, prepare underwriting assessments, and engage with investors to strengthen relationships.ResponsibilitiesPropose and execute underwritten lending opportunities, evaluate feasibility, analyze operational and financial risks outlining the relevant disintermediation strategyPreparing Loan Underwriting Assessments for loan underwritings that are presented to the Loan Underwriting Committee (“LUC”) in support of transactions where BBVA is taking loan market risk on transactionsPreparing bank presentations, participating in bank meetings, meeting investors, dealing with investors’ different requestsActing as a market leader influencing insider and outsiders relevant players by developing own market criteria managing to set up market benchmarksIdentify lending opportunities that best meet the Bank's objectivesLead and coordinate the underwriting process in cooperation with other Joint Bookrunners to ensure best Underwriting Closing capabilitiesDuring syndications where BBVA is an active Bookrunner, providing invited lenders with assistance in regard to Due Diligence subjects, prepare syndication status calls, prepare allocationsProvide industry and client research to use in the sales process and lead in the preparation of sales presentation materialCovers banks and institutional investors for loan purchases & sales and market soundingsHolding regular meetings with investors to strengthen relationships and generate reverse enquiries, primary and secondary alikeSharing market knowledge amongst the wholesale lending teams by keeping the Debt domain and other internal databases (Sales Force) updated with regular notesExecution and closing of primary assignments and preparation of FAS91 to close out fee recognition post successful syndicationPitching clients together with different origination teamsPreparation of marketing materials for client pitches and idea generation, including pitchbook template updatesPreparation of Information Memos and Lender Presentations for lead role opportunities and coordination of bank meetingsPreparation of Preparation of Syndicaiton Strategies and syndication trackers to discuss / present to the client, associated with the prepartion and implemention of a BBVA led Bookrunning exercisePrepare and punctually update information reporting on in process transactions and closed deals, including interaction with finance on fee (FAS91) recognitionLoan underwriting approval, booking and distribution follow up for transactions booked in NY using internal processes and systems (Sales Force), including working with/informing various teams/Sr. MngtSkillsDegree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related fieldFluent in English.
