Position Summary Top Flite Home Loans is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Senior Loan Processor to join our Operations team. This role is responsible for managing the loan file from contract to closing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a smooth experience for both internal partners and clients. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities · Review new loan submissions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal, state, and company guidelines. · Process Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan files, ensuring proper documentation based on agency requirements. · Run and interpret AUS findings (DU, LPA, GUS) and update conditions accordingly. · Manage disclosure timelines and ensure compliance with TRID, including issuing initial disclosures, change of circumstance updates, and re-disclosures when needed. · Order and review third-party documentation such as appraisals, title, VOEs, tax transcripts, and insurance. · Maintain proactive communication with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and closing to keep files moving efficiently toward clear-to-close. · Identify documentation gaps and work directly with borrowers and loan originators to resolve outstanding conditions. · Update and maintain loan files in Encompass with accuracy and attention to detail. · Prepare the loan for underwriting submission and follow up on underwriting conditions. · Ensure all compliance and investor requirements are met prior to closing. Qualifications Required: · 3+ years of mortgage loan processing experience with Conventional and Government loan programs. · Hands-on Encompass LOS experience (required). · Strong knowledge of agency guidelines, including documentation standards for FHA, VA, and USDA loans. · Solid understanding of AUS systems (DU, LPA, GUS) and how to satisfy findings. · Working knowledge of TRID disclosure requirements and compliance workflows. · Ability to review and analyze income, assets, credit, and collateral documentation. · Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple loans and deadlines. · Strong written and verbal communication skills; customer-focused approach. · High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail. Preferred: · Experience working in a high-volume mortgage environment. · Knowledge of non-QM products and requirements. · Past experience in a branch processing or distributed retail mortgage model.
