The Loan Operations Specialist processes and funds consumer loans, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting loan maintenance and communication with various stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate a working knowledge of the applicable core system, including loan and deposit platformsProcess indirect and direct consumer loans within set guidelines and procedures to ensure loan details and documents are completed accurately before funding and disbursements are madeFund all indirect and direct consumer loans within set guidelines and procedures to ensure loan details and documents are completed accurately before funding and disbursements are madeSupport title specialist in maintaining accurate records and tracking of incoming and outgoing titlesNotify dealers and branch staff of funded loan status or funding issuesPrepare wire transfer/ACH for dealer and consumer fundingPerform a variety of loan account file maintenance requestsProvide support to branch staff, dealerships and departmental staff as neededMaintain consistent communication with branch staff, dealerships and department; including responding to incoming emails, phone calls, voicemails and requestsThorough understanding of DNCU loan products and policiesAdministration and maintenance of the Skip-A-Pay programPromotes a need based internal member education culture within the department to identify opportunities for improvement by promoting credit union products and services.
