Litigation Attorney (Insurance Defense) – Remote in California
Compensation:
$130,000 – $250,000 + Bonus

Boutique civil litigation firm with offices in San Francisco and Santa Monica, focused on insurance defense, personal injury, construction defect, and real estate litigation. The team is collaborative, supportive, and hands-on, with Managing Partners actively involved in mentorship and case strategy. Fully remote across California, with in-person court appearances handled collaboratively where needed.
The Opportunity:
We are actively hiring multiple Litigation Attorneys (2–15 years’ experience) with backgrounds in insurance defense, personal injury defense, construction defect, or general civil litigation. This role is ideal for attorneys who can manage a litigation caseload, handle depositions, and make court appearances while working in a collegial, team-oriented environment.
We are moving efficiently and can take candidates from initial conversation to decision within approximately two weeks.
What You’ll Do:
• Manage a caseload of 10–25 civil litigation matters
• Handle depositions, court appearances, law & motion, and case strategy
• Work across insurance defense, personal injury defense, construction defect, and real estate litigation
• Collaborate directly with Managing Partners and senior litigators
• Maintain consistent client communication, reporting, and compliance
What We're Looking For:
• 2–15 years of civil litigation experience
• Strong experience taking and defending depositions
• Comfortable handling court appearances, motion practice, and case management
• Experience in insurance defense, personal injury defense, or construction defect preferred
• Ability to work semi-autonomously while remaining collaborative
• Active California Bar license
Compensation & Benefits:
• $130K (≈2 years) up to $250K+ (10+ years with book), depending on experience
• Discretionary bonus upon meeting billables
