As an HR Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our HR functions, providing essential support across various initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing correspondence. • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and timely. • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. • Support HR programs and initiatives such as employee engagement, performance management, and learning and development. • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating complex issues as needed. • Assist in the coordination of company-wide events and HR-related activities. • Generate HR reports and provide data analysis as requested to support decision-making. • Help facilitate offboarding processes, including exit interviews and final documentation. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Required Skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. • Proactive problem-solving abilities and a strong work ethic. • Basic understanding of HR principles and best practices. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. • 1+ year of experience in an HR administrative or assistant role. • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors). • Experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment. • Understanding of LinkedIn's products and mission.
