As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for nurturing and growing relationships with our existing clients, solving client issues, and serving as a strategic liaison between client stakeholders and our internal teams. You’ll lead the coordination of repeat business, upsell opportunities, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure projects are executed efficiently at expected quality, giving clients exceptional value.
This is a mid-to-senior-level role ideal for someone with strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and a genuine interest in helping life sciences clients succeed. While you won’t be expected to serve as a technical expert, you will need to understand our service offerings and know when to involve the right internal technical stakeholders to move initiatives forward or solve problems.Key Responsibilities
Own and grow relationships with assigned client accounts, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and expansion
Identify and solve client issues, working with the projects team to dignose and propose solutions, and guarantee successful execution of solutions
Identify upsell opportunities and collaborate with marketing and new business sales to expand client engagement
Serve as the central point of contact for clients, coordinating internal resources including Project Managers, SMEs, and Finance
Lead client meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and follow-up
Scope new opportunities by working with internal experts to develop accurate proposals and timelines
Manage the invoicing process: turn hours reports into invoices, coordinate PO collection and ensure alignment between Sales, Finance, and Project Management
Maintain accurate account data and activity tracking within HubSpot CRM
Support onboarding of new clients and ensure a smooth transition to delivery teams
Assist with contract creation and administration using internal templates
Provide high-touch service and timely communication to all client and internal stakeholders
Support reporting on account performance and key metrics for leadership review
Perform other administrative and account coordination duties as needed
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in client-facing roles such as account management, customer success, or consultative B2B sales
Familiarity with the life sciences or healthcare industry a plus (but not required)
Experience managing many accounts and projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authority
Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to juggle multiple priorities
Proficiency with CRM software (preferably HubSpot); experience with project management tools like Asana is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, life sciences, or a related field preferred
