The Opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented Licensing & Compliance Specialist to own the short-term rental permitting and onboarding process across our growing portfolio.
This is not a data entry role — it’s an ownership role. You will be the person who makes sure every property we bring on is legally compliant, properly licensed, and ready to generate revenue without interruption.
You will be responsible for managing the full licensing lifecycle across multiple markets, including:
STR permit acquisition and renewalMunicipal compliance trackingNew property onboarding coordination

What You’ll Own
STR Licensing & Permitting
Research and manage short-term rental licensing requirements across all active and target marketsSubmit permit applications, renewals, and any required documentation on behalf of property ownersTrack permit statuses, expiration dates, and renewal deadlines to ensure zero lapses in complianceCommunicate with local municipalities, licensing offices, and HOAs as needed
Property Onboarding
Coordinate the compliance side of new property onboarding from signed agreement to live listingEnsure all required licenses, registrations, and tax IDs are obtained before a property goes liveWork cross-functionally with operations and revenue teams to keep onboarding timelines on trackMaintain accurate onboarding records and status updates across all active properties
Compliance Monitoring & Tracking
Build and maintain a compliance tracker covering all properties and marketsMonitor regulatory changes in key markets and flag any risks or required actionEnsure all properties remain in good standing with local STR regulations on an ongoing basisCreate SOPs and documentation for compliance processes as we scale into new markets
Reporting & Communication
Provide regular status updates on licensing pipeline and onboarding progressFlag issues proactively — expired permits, denied applications, regulatory changesMaintain organized records and documentation for all active and pending licenses
What We’re Looking For
Experience in STR licensing, property management, real estate administration, or a related fieldStrong attention to detail — you catch what others miss and nothing falls through the cracksHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple properties and markets simultaneouslyComfortable researching municipal regulations independently and navigating government portalsProactive communicator who keeps stakeholders informed without being askedTech-savvy — comfortable working in Google Sheets, project management tools, and CRMsSomeone who embodies our core values: Solutions Oriented, Move Fast, No EgoExperience with short-term rental platforms (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.) is a strong plus
Role Details
Location: Fully Remote - HondurasHours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ESTCompensation: $1,200/month
