Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical terminology and HIPAA-compliant documentation standards.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Implement specialized interventions for clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, addiction issues, and geriatrics.
• Utilize EMR systems for accurate medical records management and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to support clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or emergencies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management plans, patient care strategies, and clinical research initiatives.
• Maintain ongoing professional development by staying current with ICD-10/ICD-9/ICD coding updates, CPT coding practices, and advances in psychopharmacology.

Qualifications
• Valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), PhD in Psychology or related field, or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor).
• Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques including motivational interviewing, behavioral health interventions, and crisis management.
• Familiarity with working with children, adolescents, adults, and elderly populations across settings such as hospitals, community clinics, or home care environments.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards aligned with HIPAA compliance.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), including applied behavior analysis (ABA) approaches.
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD coding systems (ICD-10/ICD-9).
• Strong skills in data collection for clinical research purposes and experience with hospital-based patient care is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate social work practices like case management, intake procedures, group therapy sessions, and Christian counseling if applicable. Pay: $30.00 - $70.00 per hour
