Licensed School Social Worker
Major Responsibilities:
• Conduct virtual individual consultations to assess the psychological and social needs of the students.
• Develop individualized strategies and interventions tailored to the unique challenges faced by visually impaired students.
• Collaborate with families and educational staff to create a supportive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
• Guide on coping strategies, social skills, and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress, and communications with families.
Qualifications:
• Must possess a School Social Work certification in Massachusetts.
• Prior experience working with students with disabilities, particularly those who are visually impaired, is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students and families.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within the designated hours.
Technology Skills:
• Proficiency in virtual communication platforms for conducting consultations.
• Familiarity with student information systems and documentation tools.
Physical Requirements:
