Roles and Responsibilities
As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Headlight, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional mental health care to our clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
Establishing positive, trusting relationships with patients
Diagnosing and treating mental health disorders
Creating individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and circumstances
Providing regular counseling and therapy sessions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
Conducting ongoing assessments of patient progress
Involving and advising family members when appropriate
Participating in outreach and referral activities to support the broader community
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
A Master's Level Degree or higher in a related field (e.g., counseling, psychology, social work)
A full, unencumbered PsyD, LMFT/LCSW/LPC license (dependent on office location)
2+ years of experience providing diagnostic assessment and therapy services
The ability to maintain professional licensure and/or certification throughout your employment
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
The ability to work collaboratively as a team member and guide or influence others
