The ideal candidate will provide mental health counseling and support to individuals facing various challenges, including crisis situations and long-term mental health issues, trauma, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and stress related to workplace injuries. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, case management, and the ability to work with diverse populations. Our administrative team handles insurance verifications and billing, so you can focus on what you do best— providing therapy.
Duties
• Provide therapy in both Spanish and English
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during critical situations.
• Utilize coding systems for documentation and billing purposes
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.
Skills
• A Licensed LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Texas (required), Social Work, or related field
• Active and unrestricted license in Texas as LPC, LMFT, or LCSW
• Proficient in crisis intervention strategies.
• Understanding of coding systems used in healthcare settings.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction and documentation.
• Empathy and compassion for clients from diverse backgrounds.
