Job description: Xpress Wellness Urgent Care is looking for a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. Take and record vital signs, medical history, and patient symptoms
Assist providers during examinations and treatments
Administer medications and injections as directed by providers
Collect lab specimens and perform basic lab tests
Verify and update patient information in electronic medical records
Prepare and clean exam rooms before and after patient visits
Educate patients on medications, treatments, and self-care procedures
This position will be required to be trained in X-Ray
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
CPR/BLS certification preferred
Proficient computer skills, experience with electronic medical records preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work weekends and/or holidays when needed
Compassionate and professional demeanor with patients and team members
