Job Summary

As a Licensed Personal Lines Insurance Agent, P&C, you'll play a critical role in representing our leading Property & Casualty client and assisting members with their insurance needs. You'll address inquiries regarding billing and property casualty policies, resolve questions and issues with accuracy, and provide a positive and welcoming experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities


Interact with customers via inbound and outbound calls and/or the internet to address their insurance needs and provide exceptional customer experiences.
Represent our leading Property & Casualty client and assist members with their insurance needs, including answering questions and resolving issues.
Address inquiries regarding billing and property casualty policies, and process changes with accuracy.
Provide a positive and welcoming experience for our customers, being empathetic and thorough in answering inquiries.
Utilize basic computer navigation skills and PC knowledge to efficiently manage customer interactions and policy information.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our company's products and services, as well as industry trends and regulations.


Requirements

Essential Qualifications


1+ year of customer service experience: We look for candidates with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and building strong relationships.
Active resident license to sell P&C insurance: You must hold a valid license to sell property and casualty insurance in your state of residence.
Verifiable High school diploma or GED: We require a high school diploma or equivalent as a minimum educational requirement.
Basic computer navigation skills and PC knowledge: You should be proficient in using computers and software applications to manage customer interactions and policy information.
Proficiency in fast-paced multi-tasking: Our agents must be able to handle multiple customer interactions simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn new technologies: We're looking for candidates who are comfortable with learning new software applications and technologies.
Passion for helping others: Our agents must be empathetic and genuinely interested in helping our customers achieve their insurance goals.
Patient and empathetic nature: You should be able to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and provide exceptional customer experiences.
Ability to pass a background check: We require a background check for all new hires.
Must reside in the United States or have a valid U.S. address for residence: Our agents must be U.S. residents or have a valid U.S. address.


Preferred Qualifications


Bilingual or multilingual skills: We welcome candidates who speak multiple languages and can interact with customers in their native language.
Previous experience in the insurance industry: Candidates with prior experience in insurance sales or customer service are highly valued.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Our agents should be able to analyze complex policy information and resolve issues efficiently.
