Seeking a dedicated Virtual Special Education Teacher to provide personalized instruction and support to students with disabilities in a remote learning environment.
This role involves:
Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students' needs.
Adapt curriculum and instructional materials for virtual learning.
Conduct virtual assessments of academic, social, and behavioral development.
Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student goals.
Provide direct virtual instruction using appropriate teaching strategies and technology.
Monitor student progress, maintain records, and prepare reports for meetings.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
Active Maryland Licensure in Special Education.
Experience in virtual or traditional special education settings.
Strong understanding of special education laws and IEP processes.
Proficiency in virtual learning platforms and technology tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
