Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Game Designer to join our dynamic team. Duties
ā¢ Develop game concepts, storylines, and character designs that resonate with target audiences.
ā¢ Create detailed design documents outlining gameplay mechanics, level designs, and user interfaces.
ā¢ Collaborate with programmers to implement game features using scripting languages and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
ā¢ Utilize tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Maya for 2D and 3D animation to enhance visual elements of the game.
ā¢ Conduct playtesting sessions to gather feedback and refine gameplay mechanics based on player experiences.
ā¢ Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative ideas into game design.
ā¢ Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials that effectively showcase the game.
Skills
ā¢ Proficiency in AI programming techniques for creating intelligent game behaviors.
ā¢ Strong scripting skills in languages relevant to game development.
ā¢ Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator for graphic design tasks.
ā¢ Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and their application in game development.
ā¢ Familiarity with Angular for web-based game interfaces is a plus.
ā¢ Expertise in 3D animation using tools like Maya, as well as experience in 2D animation techniques.
ā¢ Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various disciplines.
ā¢ A passion for video games and a strong understanding of player engagement strategies.
