Duties
ā¢ Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
ā¢ Assist in diagnosing vehicle issues and conducting repairs on GM vehicles.
ā¢ Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete assigned tasks.
ā¢ Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
ā¢ Align vehicle components as necessary to meet manufacturer specifications.
ā¢ Collaborate with senior technicians to learn best practices in automotive service and repair.
ā¢ Document all work performed accurately in accordance with dealership protocols.
Skills
ā¢ Basic mechanical knowledge with a strong willingness to learn about automotive service and repair.
ā¢ Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
ā¢ Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures, particularly for GM vehicles, is a plus.
ā¢ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
ā¢ Good problem-solving skills with the ability to align components correctly during repairs.
ā¢ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective teamwork.
