Responsibilities
In this role, you will transcribe content from depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings. Your tasks will include meticulously capturing spoken words, interpreting legal jargon, and ensuring accuracy in grammar. You will transform audio recordings into verbatim transcripts following specific style guides.

Skills And Qualifications
? Prior experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription
? Strong listening skills and attention to detail
? Ability to meet deadlines and adhere to client-specific guidelines
? Proficiency in literacy with a focus on comprehension, spelling, and grammar
? Capability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting
? Fast and accurate typing skills
? Comfort processing challenging audio/text content, which may include sensitive material
? Willingness to undergo a background check
? Familiarity with legal terminology; court reporting students are welcome to apply
Equipment Requirements
To work with our advanced transcription technology, ensure you have the following:
? High-speed internet connection
? Desktop or laptop computer
? Noise-canceling headphones of good quality
? Windows 10 operating system
? Antivirus software with daily updates (excluding Webroot antivirus)
? Infinity Foot Pedal (recommended)
? Proficiency in Microsoft Word
