In this role, you will be responsible for managing and resolving legal disputes related to land acquisition, title verification, regulatory compliance, and real estate transactions. You will work closely with internal teams, external counsels, and government authorities to ensure our land and property dealings are legally secure, transparent, and risk-mitigated.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 3+ years of litigation experience in the land and real estate sector to be part of a fast-paced, compliance-driven organization operating across multiple geographies.Key Responsibilities Handle litigation and dispute resolution related to land acquisition, property disputes, encroachments, tenancy claims, and title defects. Represent the company before civil courts, tribunals, revenue authorities, and regulatory bodies in matters pertaining to land and property issues. Conduct due diligence and title verification of land parcels to ensure clear ownership and identify potential legal risks. Draft and review legal documents, including sale deeds, lease agreements, MoUs, Power of Attorney (PoA), NOCs, and litigation-related pleadings. Coordinate with external legal counsel, consultants, and law firms to manage ongoing litigation effectively and cost-efficiently. Provide legal advice and strategies to the internal team and leadership on issues involving land acquisition laws, RERA, tenancy laws, and municipal regulations. Maintain proper records of all litigation cases, documents, court filings, and orders. Assist in resolving legal notices, arbitrations, and pre-litigation matters through negotiation and settlement wherever feasible. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations related to land and real estate. Required Skills & QualificationsLL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) from a recognized institution; enrollment with a Bar Council is mandatory. Minimum 3 years of litigation experience, specifically in land and real estate matters. In-depth understanding of property law, land revenue codes, and civil litigation procedures. Proven ability to handle real estate litigation independently with minimal supervision. Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. Familiarity with regional property laws and regulatory frameworks applicable to the land and real estate sector. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with government officials, stakeholders, and legal teams. Willingness to travel for court appearances and site visits as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in real estate firms, infrastructure companies, or with law firms specializing in property litigation.
