Legal Operations & Systems Associate
Functional role: Legal Operations & Systems Associate
Location: New York Remote
Contract (4 months) with potential conversion
Key Responsibilities
• Own and administer legal operations systems, including contract lifecycle management platforms and internal legal tooling
• Manage intake, tracking, and resolution of contracts, compliance requests, and operational legal workflows
• Identify, remediate, and standardize contracts with missing signer data or incomplete metadata
• Maintain structured, audit-ready legal documentation and datasets to support due diligence, compliance, and internal reporting
• Serve as operational lead for legal vendor relationships, including coordination, documentation, and performance tracking
• Support IP portfolio operations through centralized tracking and documentation workflows
• Partner with Legal, Finance, and Operations teams to streamline processes using tech-enabled solutions
• Ensure secure handling and protection of confidential and sensitive information
• Independently manage defined workstreams from intake through execution and closeout, with minimal oversight
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Experience in legal operations, or tech-enabled legal support roles
• Strong operational mindset with the ability to design, document, and improve repeatable processes
• Proven experience managing legal tools, databases, or workflow systems
• Comfortable operating in high-growth tech environments with limited bandwidth and high ownership
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of prioritizing across competing demands
• Prior experience at a technology or Web3/blockchain company is a major plus
