Legal / Law Summer Internship
Join Cummins as a summer Legal Intern, supporting Corporate Business with diverse legal work and mentorship.
Your Role:
Key responsibilities include:
• Perform legal research and analysis
• Draft contracts using templates and established procedures
• Attend commercial negotiations, mediations, and client meetings
• Lead legal projects and process improvements
• Examine legal data to determine strategies
• Analyze potential outcomes of cases, legislation, and regulation
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
• Action-oriented
• Balance stakeholders and/or different stakeholder interests
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Intellectual curiosity and personal integrity
• Current student in an ABA approved Law School
• Full-time enrolled student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
• Minimum 2.5 GPA preferred
• Ability to complete a 10-12 week commitment with no interruptions
• Ability to complete 40 hours per week
• Demonstrate collaborative skills
Compensation & Benefits:
• Estimated salary: $6300.00
