Job Overview
We are seeking a Remote Legal Data Entry Clerk to support our law firm’s digital record-keeping and documentation processes. This role involves entering, organizing, and maintaining legal documents in compliance with confidentiality standards. It’s ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, organized, and interested in legal administration.
Prior experience in legal or administrative work is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
• Enter and update client and case information into legal database systems
• Organize digital case files, legal correspondence, and court records
• Maintain document version control and ensure file integrity
• Assist legal assistants and attorneys with basic clerical tasks
• Ensure compliance with legal confidentiality and data protection standards
• Prepare simple reports or summaries from structured data (optional)
Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s or Legal Admin Certificate preferred)
• Typing speed of 45+ WPM with strong accuracy
• Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential legal data
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Stable internet connection and a reliable computer
