Legal Consultant - Energy Oil & Gas

Currently, we're hiring lawers with Energy, Oil & Gas experience to join us with:Ideally 3+ years’ experience within the energy, oil & gas space, gained either within private practice or in houseExperience in project financing and M&A would be an added advantage though not essentialExperience in LNG is highly preferableThe responsibilities for this role will include:Working side by side with the legal and business teams of our F500 clients to help internal stakeholders meet company goalsProviding practical legal advice / commercially tailored support on a wide spectrum of energy / oil & gas related mattersDrafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising on a variety of agreements in relation to bids and tenders, new market entries, project financing, EPC contracts and other operational issuesOversee transaction management, including managing local legal advisers as well as advising shareholder/investment documentationEnsuring compliance to the regulatory framework, while maintaining and updating documentation on regulatory requirementsManage and resolve complex joint-venture obligations in the company’s interest to mitigate potential claims and risksCompensation, Benefits & Location:This role offers a range of competitive compensation and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits and paid time off.
